The mechanism in this grinder is specifically designed to produce the best ground salt possible and uses a corrosion-resistant, crushing mechanism that consists of two ribbed plates which fracture and crush the dry sea salt to a consistent size. Adjusting the size of the grind is easy; just twist the adjustment nut clockwise for a finer salt and anti-clockwise for a more coarse grind.
